Nighthawk Consulting was founded by Ged Gaul, a 35-year Victoria Police veteran with extensive investigative experience in the organised crime and counter terrorism environments.

Ged has spent over 25 years as an investigator in both metropolitan and rural locations, as well as specialist covert investigative units. He has experience and expertise in the utilisation of overt and covert investigative methodology, including physical, technical and electronic surveillance and human intelligence.

He has conducted successful investigations into large scale livestock theft and managed numerous operations targeting illegal hunting in conjunction with partner agencies.

Based in northeast Victoria where he runs a grazing operation with his wife, he has a passion for agriculture and an understanding of the challenges faced by farmers and rural communities.

With this background and experience Ged is able to assess any vulnerabilities present on your property or in your business, provide advice on the most effective solutions to your issues and implement a comprehensive strategy to minimise identified risks. He has the communication skills to effectively liaise with police and insurance companies on your behalf to ensure that customer service standards are maintained to ensure effective outcomes.
